Protection clusters should engage with development, peace and security actors on their respective strategy and planning process, to ensure that Protection outcomes are taken into account in those planning, and to integrate relevant elements of those plans into the Protection Cluster strategies. The Cluster also advocates for the creation of an HCT Protection Strategy to further Protection outcomes across the humanitarian response, and for the inclusion of collective protection outcomes in the HRP.

Ensure the Centrality of Protection in the HRP and other strategic planning processes
Engage with key Clusters on their contributions to collective protection outcomes
Engage with human rights, development, and peace/security actors on collective protection outcomes (nexus)
Engage in the PoC and/or durable solution strategies (nexus)
