Information Management Officer

Samuel joined the Global Protection Cluster (GPC) in October 2023. He brings with him a wealth of experience in the Humanitarian and Development Sector, spanning over 6 years. He is particularly proficient in Information Management Systems Design and has a proven track record of designing and implementing systems tailored for emergency situations. Notably, Samuel has previously held roles at the Africa Climate Summit as a Data Scientist and with UN-Habitat in Afghanistan as Associate Information Management Systems Developer, where he was responsible for the development of a robust and predictive beneficiary management system under the SHURA Program. His expertise extends to organizations such as Elephants Alive-Mozambique, Resource-Africa, American Red Cross-EARO as Group Administrator for the Measles Rubella Initiative-2016 SIA, and the Kenya Red Cross-Research Assistant and GIS Expert in the Cholera Outbreak Mapping, Mastercard Foundation-Expertise Global as a Database Developer for the Expert Database for 5 African countries, among others. Samuel's skill set includes strong Software Programming capabilities specializing in Bespoke Systems, ERPs, Web Systems, Database Systems, Mobile Apps, and Analytic Solutions such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Synapse Analytics.
