Lisa Monaghan

Lisa started working with the GPC in February 2024. She has fifteen years’ experience of working in emergency and protected crisis. She is returning to coordination support having worked for 5 years previously as the protection cluster co-coordinator in South Sudan (2013-2015) and the Whole of Syria protection co-coordinator (2015-2017). 

Lisa has worked in a number of country responses, including Syria, South Sudan, Palestine, Turkey, Iraq and Uganda. Lisa has worked across sudden onset emergencies, protected crises and transition/durable solutions contexts. Lisa started her international experience with Al-Haq, Palestine (2008) and she has previously worked with DG ECHO, IOM Oxfam and UN OHCHR. Lisa is currently studying for an MSc in Cyberpsychology.
