Protection Cluster Coordination Toolbox

The responsibility of the Global Protection Cluster (GPC) is to engage in three key areas: standards and policy setting, building response capacity, and operational support. The GPC work-plan for 2012-2014 incorporates seven priority areas for the work of the GPC covering these key responsibilities, both in terms of support to field protection clusters and key areas of engagement at the global level. One of the priority focus areas is the development and dissemination of a Protection Cluster Coordination Toolbox containing essential tools that are needed to start up a protection cluster during the first two weeks of an emergency.

In this section you will find the necessary tools on the coordination of a field protection cluster. The GPC will continue to update the list of tools to ensure the provision of the most effective support to the field.
